By definition suicide requires intent. Suicide means to intentionally cause death to oneself or to intentionally take away one’s own life.
There is no such thing as an accidental suicide.

Depends on intent.
Some suicide attempts are just for drama and attention. They "get off" on causing drama at closing a bridge and hours of attention from medical specislists, for example.
But some are genuine and need medical help, not more punishment.
Of course not.
Nope. What purpose would that serve? To punish someone already wanting to die? You'd just give them another reason to succeed the second time.
No. That person needs to be evaluated mentally and need a psychiatrist/therapist.
Only problem is, it only works for women. With men, therapy is actually one of the causes of suicide. It probably does not help that many of the psychiatrists/therapists are man-hating feminists. The only therapy that works for men is success, or at least that's my experience - the moment I landed a job, I suddenly felt much better about my life.

Not a crime as much as we need to help the person, cause why would someone considers suicide if they are happy or didn't reach their breaking point!
Nah, first of all punishing it makes no sense and would lead to only more want and then it's your body your choice?
imagine going to prison for trying to end your life, ridiculous
Maybe it is believed that you can do what you want with the life that is your own to do with.
Of course not.
Nope. My body, my choice.
no, people need some help.
