I can't imagine anyone being upset if all ICE was doing was arresting gang members, drug dealers, rapists, robbers and criminals. People would be cheering.

But ICE is going after everyone who doesn't have legal documentation. Why raid farms, Home Depot, restaurants, businesses and homes to arrest people who have never committed a crime, are contributing to society, and are just working hard to support themselves and their families? Why pull people over to ask for "their papers" just because they look Mexican? Even U. S. citizens get arrested but then released days later. And what about the abuse and deaths while in custody?

Some of those people have been here for years but, because of the immigration process, do not have legal status.

I do not see the benefit in arresting and deporting honest, hard working people.

I have had very little interaction with the kinds of people ICE & CBP are trying to remove and keep out. If i have ever met an illegal immigrant, i wouldn’t know it. 100% of my firsthand experience with deadbeats and criminals involved the homegrown varieties.
