[Excuse my grammar] The only possibility is prejudice considering is brown and I am in a predominantly white town. I noticed a habit all my life since I was old enough to be on my own of people staring and making fun of me I need to know if it's deeper. It's not paranoia people love to throw that word around like its candy. I don't know if it's because I look young for my age 18 instead of my actual age or if it's because my hair is blonde and my skin is brown. I even complimented on my hair so I know I don't look crazy like dark skin with blonde hair.
Ever since I started wearing my hair blonde or ginger red I attracted negative attention. It makes no sense because since I straightened my hair people were telling me I was pretty and I got male attention that wasn't negative but I'm confused why a group of guys yesterday who were Caucasian decided to pick me out of everyone start laughing and saying I was ugly. I been told I look like a model and on guy felt like he wasn't good enough for me because he said I look so good. I don't know if Texas is a prejudice state but I do no there are almost no girls my color around here it's majority Caucasian and very few Hispanic girls. People also stare like crazy out here I didn't know how bad it was until I came here. i still don't understand why I didn't get all this negative attention when I had my natural hair color I'm considering just dyeing my hair a dark color again. I heard a girl say people find anything bl ck women do to be a problem. We aren't allowed to do anything without being made fun of but yet every other race of women can steal our hair and culture. Is it because I look like a teenager and since I'm going places alone and done have a car they see me all the time and think it's funny to make fun of me. This is not like before where people thought I was homeless I literally work next to the coffee shop everyday and out of all the days a group of guys decided to pick at my appearance. It's always men doing
