It depends on the country. You probably wouldn't want to wear tight-fitting clothes or show skin but, aside from that, you could wear pants and normal clothes.
You should wear a scarf that covers the top and back of your hair. But I've seen tourists with their scarves not covering their heads and merely getting some tsk tsk tsks from a few people. Even the police weren't mean about it.

In Syria, women went without scarves all the time and even wore bikinis on beaches before the U. S. overthrew Assad and recognized an alQaida leader as the new president.

I'm not sure about Turkey.

I don’t know how it is for tourist but why go to a country where you have to put something over your face and we’re heavy clothing even though wrestling girls had to cooperate, but they didn’t have to wear a mask

If shariah is the law of the land then yes it’s expected

Of course some Islamic countries deliberately offer tourists the freedom of not doing that because they need to tourism to maintain the economy

But in general: wherever you go in the world you’re supposed to adhere to local law. Being a foreigner doesn’t give you a pass

Not sure what country you’re going to but you should talk to a travel agent to see if travelers have to follow the dress codes for there but if that’s what it says on the website for that country, most likely you would have to follow their local laws and I don’t know how you’re supposed to prove chastity unless you get strip searched

Whenever a person, male or female, enters another country, they are required to follow that country's laws.

That's why it's important to know and understand where you are going... before you get there. You wouldn't want to get caned for chewing gum in Singapore. And a woman wouldn't want to be arrested for not covering (hijab) in a strict Islamic country.

If you are going to an extremist country then yes.
Others like Saudi Arabia have got less restrictive to the point a hijab is no longer by law needed, and when it was enforced even then they were a bit more lenient on tourists and depended on area.

Maybe some countries are more tolerant towards tourists, but I wouldn't count on that by default. Plus, looking at what your AI agent reports, you're not going to a very liberal country lol.

It probably talk about chastity in the sense that whoever made up those laws associate outfit with sexual purity.
