Does my landlord think I’m overreacting about my noisy neighbor?

I just moved into my apartment April 8, 2026. The neighbor creates excessive noise and I asked if I could break my lease and find another place. The landlord offered me a different apartment and I'm taking them up on that offer. Both the landlord and contactor was saying "your neighbor was always quiet when we were there" big difference when someone lives there. But they're allowing me to move. So I'm wondering if they believe the neighbor is an actual nuisance or if they think I'm low key crazy?

It's quasi-irrelevant.
They respected you and are giving you a new apartment and, where you are concerned, that's all that mattered.
Now, if the person who moves in after you does not have a problem with the alleged noisy neighbor, then the landlord is happy and you just had a noise issue and that's it. These things happen.
BUT, if the person who moves in after you ALSO complains about the neighbor, then the landlord knows they have an issue with the noisy neighbor - and it's not alleged anymore.
