at this point of my life... most of my mind, and opinions are very well "tested" and corroborated through enough experience of my own, as well as others

so... it's not like it becomes difficult or impossible, there's just not a point to it

and in contrast... for the things in which I am fairly new to them, or I don't have enough experience with them, then yeah... those will continue to adjust, rather than change... and this, through the same process... by my own experience or that of others with me

Slightly easy, depending on what it is and how strongly I feel about that particular thing. It also depends on who is trying to convince me.

I’m more easily influenced in areas where I don’t know much, like makeup or dressing a certain way. Even though I have a basic understanding and somewhat know what I like, I can still be easily convinced otherwise.

One example is how I sometimes struggle with picking outfits for certain occasions. Sometimes I don’t always know what’s appropriate for a specific setting. I’ll question whether a dress looks nice on me or if it suits my overall look. It’s the same with makeup , I second-guess everything. Even if I’m comfortable with my look, someone can still convince me that my simple style isn’t enough.

I’m more likely to value the opinion of someone who is more knowledgeable in those areas because I’m not.

It is not easy at all for others to change my mind or opinion on something. Once I form a view, I stand by it firmly and don’t shift it based on what others say.

I never change my opinion. Never. Nothing can do it. My thoughts and beliefs stay the same regardless of pressure, arguments, or outside influence. I trust my own judgment completely, and once I decide where I stand, I remain consistent no matter what others try to say or prove.

My mind is the hardest to change when I feel hurt , I tend to be resolute and steadfast until I’ve calmed down. I know that about myself though and deliberately don’t make decisions when hurt or in anger.

As for other times or more generally speaking I like to collaborate when making decisions when it affects others. As far as opinions go I think I’m fairly liberal and forward thinking generally so present a well thought out statement or some actual facts and it’s easily possible to sway me

Depends on the topic. I like to say that I'm open to being wrong. I don't think it's healthy to think you know everything and that all your beliefs and views are rock solid. That said some things I believe in I don't think can change easily lol.

For ex. I really believe we need to just be nicer to each other in general. Literally just being nice. Nothing politically motivated in that statement. I don't think I could be convinced otherwise in that.

Could I be swayed in a topic or debate something controversial and come out of it with a different viewpoint. Sure and I have when it's rooted in good faith and facts.

Very difficult. I like to think I have a strong sense of logic and reasoning and have come to very sound conclusions in my life on most topics. This is not to say I'm not open minded, but it's pretty hard to punch a hole in my reasoning to change my opinion generally.

I'm always open to change , I don't believe in absolutes , life in total is many shades of grey , topic dependent , and case put forward dependent.

Anyone should be capable enough , flexible enough , thoughtful enough , to be swayed , but not simple from Black v White..

Or the sky is green , world flat , 9 - 11 didn't happen type stuff.

Nearly impossible unless I’m presented with clear and verifiable evidence that I can look into on my own time.

They’ll never change my mind in one sitting.
But if I go home, consider what they said, investigate it, I might change my mind the next time we meet

That depends on the quality of their thinking and how well they can communicate their arguments. Don't come at me with a child brain and information being parroted from a dark web echo chamber. But come at me with experience and well reasoned argument and I'll sit there for hours listening.

For hours, very nice ! I'm cooking a 5hrs long documentary you might be interested in, it's about biochemistry's unsuspected influence on Kantian ideas developed during the uprising of skateboarders in New Zealand. From January 1991 to February 2005.

It depends on the topic. If it's something I've given a lot of thought to and have a well-reasoned position, it's quite difficult to change my opinion. If it's something I've developed an opinion on based on "things I've heard," I can be swayed pretty easily with a reasonable explanation of why my opinion is flawed.

If you have enough evidence or a really persuasive argument, it's not very hard. The hard part is coming up with them.

For example, I don't think I'll ever change my mind about abortion not being murder unless, possibly, it's a healthy fetus near the point of birth, in which case, why wouldn't you do a C-section instead? (Just to take a recent conversation on here.)

Nobody can change my mind but me. I am, however, very open minded to new information and I have little difficulty admitting when I am wrong. More than anyone I have ever met, I am capable of recognizing that I don’t know what I don’t know.

If they present facts and not BS, it is fairly easy. IF it is based on facts and not just their opinion. If it is something where they have no education on the subject in question, I'm not too likely to be persuaded though.

I'm very open minded. So it's not hard if the person presents a good argument. But there is the crux of it. It's not that it's hard to change my mind, it's that a lot of peoples reasoning is 💩.😆 I'm not going to believe you just because you want me to.

Someone who lacks my respect can word a concept or idea in the most beautiful of ways and I won't blink. Someone who I respect and trust simply needs to tell me I'm wrong without cause.

Not so easy. I need to have a rebuttal and discuss both ideas. I’m open to agreeing or even agreeing to disagree, but most people just want to give their argument without question.

It depends on how open I am to it... I changed my mind about my religion, but it had to come from somebody I respected. I wasn't deconverted by just any atheist. I also had to be mentally ready for it (Christianity had been causing me some problems).

I am generally pretty open to having my opinion changed, but this was a topic I was locked onto for years. So, in order to have my opinion changed, not that hard. To have my BELIEFS changed, it has to come from someone I respect a lot.

If they’ve got the proof or facts to back up their opinion, then quick. But if it’s only a matter of their difference in opinion, then slow, if at all.

Pretty hard. If you want to change my mind about anything, you better come with facts and data to back up your claim. Otherwise, you've wasted your time with me.

That depends on the subject matter. If a simple decision about which movie to see, for example, easy peasy. Whatever makes you happy. If it's an opinion on a social matter, eeh, give up.
