Generally it sounds very pretentious. Being pretentious isn't best way to win friends and allies.

Sounds like the other person got butthurt over a question you asked and the "My bad I asked" response was an "OK, fuck off douchebag"... end of conversation. At least that's how I'd use the phrase.
