What legal options does a dad have if ex hides pregnancy and sells baby for adoption?

This is happening in Colorado, and West Virginia.

The facts are this, This woman has two children by this man, during the divorce she was pregnant with one, and already had the other, after the divorce she gave birth. Immediately after the divorce she moved to Colorado, without the fathers knowledge, and sold her child for adoption (She was paid to give up her rights by the adopting party). the Father has NOT given up his rights. Mom is trying to force the adoption and force the father to sever his rights. Mom also made false accusations against the father so she could get a PFA against him so he wouldn't be able to see his children. The PFA does NOT cover the kids, but because the kids are with the mom, he is effectively prevented from seeing them.

One: they are divorced, and mom is attempting to sell the child into adoption

Two: She made false accusations making it impossible to see his children

three: she's trying to force him to sever his rights

four: Moms rights are already severed

TLDR: if you dont wanna see the video, the courts ordered mom to return the baby. But mom won't see any other consequences.

Both kods should go ti the dad as it seems she is spiting him, punishing him emotionally. Thats sick human not woman. Needs therapy. Probably does not survive, but there's a chance since young.

it be fun to be part of figuring out what went wrong and trying to repair it, but a tough battle.

why not share the wedding pictures, the courting, the ‘love’.

you are better off along w a cat than some humans. This is a lifetime of suffering and have seen comparable messes. As noted, the one women i knew of committed suicide… couldnt handle the loss and pain.

Agreed. I don't feel sorry for the mother or the adoptive parents. I feel sorry for the father and, most of all, for the child.
