Authorities should have cracked down sooner and nipped it in the bud. Mass arrest and harsh sentences plus target people encouraging unrest online.

I know French youth have a tradition of kicking off but it's always been relatively small scale and disorganised. These days with social media it's different and the government unprepared. I wouldn't be surprised if France gets more like the UK for arresting people for posting online.

But ultimately the blame rests with French schools teaching La terreur was a good thing instead of a shameful episode, it just encourages this sort of thing. Napoleon wouldn't have stood for this shit.

This comes when criminal behavior or specific minorities isn't punished the way it should be. They think they have some kind of impunity and commit crimes which are usually punished with decades of prison like assaults or arson.
I think it went that far now only life ammunition is the solution

Yes and no, it was bound to happen France is a trashheap though I'm shocked why the government let's it be so. Of course it benefits them in someway but I don't see it, surely more beneficial to kill the trouble makers or send them Afghanistan and call it a day. But I guess they see more benefit in letting criminals do whatever.

No. That's Just Wednesday in France.  They will have that all repaired and functional within the month.  In the USA they still haven't repaired much of anything since the BLM riots...
