Why can't people stop projecting and realize that just because someone is single, it doesn't mean they are alone?

You can be happy single with family, friends, and not be alone because of that. You are just single. Everyone always says someone is alone just because they are single. They are projecting.

Multiple reasons:

1) most people don't talk to their friends or hang out with them daily, not hearing from your friends and/or not seeing them for several days is normal.

2) When friends start dating, you're not their priority anymore.

People that talk to their true friends or family every week can every day and not every day and still be fine. That still doesn't equal alone as you talk to them and see them at least once a week. Or once every two weeks. Alone is when you have no one at all. You are just single.

@shish_kebab people are weird. I had a friend who almost unalived himself cause of misery yet on an argument he was like"that is why you are alone." I was like, you have been fed the cool aid, who said that means alone? And he is in denial and said how his relationship makes him happy.

For fuck's sake! Isn't she already happy? I get that the father means he wants you to make her more happy than she already is, but I hate the way it sounds.

Nobody is pressuring the bride to make YOU happy.

Both parties need to enter the Union as happy people. From there the sky is the limit.
