Why wasn’t anyone screaming racism then? If I was Jackson or black I’d be offended that the color of my skin is the only reason I was nominated. The democrats are telling the receivers that they cannot compete on equal terms with the majority without governments help just like slave owners told their slaves. If you look up the definition of racisim and and sexism, then compare it to DEI and Affirmative Action in action or how it is practiced... it's the same thing.

In their brains, it's okay because they're discriminating against the correct sex and race.

Here is a short and sweet definition of the two...

Racism: Prejudice, discrimination, or unequal treatment of people based on their race or ethnicity.

Sexism: Prejudice, discrimination, or unequal treatment of people based on their sex or gender.

So by definition, any and all that stand behind DEI, Affirmative Action, or whatever new name they come up for it... are simply racist and sexist. It doesn't matter if they tell you they don't feel that way, what they support is the predudice, discrimination, and unequal treatment of people based on the results of what they do. It is not Meritocracy it's based on their own bias which is just the same as the old bias with just different targets.

The truth is these people never wanted to end the predudice, discrimination, and unequal treatment... they just wanted it directed at another group. They're just as fucked up as the one's before them though. It doesn't change just because they changed the targets of it.

Yes. It gives people special treatment (good or bad) depending on their race and at the cost of others. Making it easier/harder for someone to get into a school or get a job because of their race is racist and discrimination based on race. It also racism of low expectations where certain groups are considered to need ”help” to get into school etc because they ”can’t” do it on their own.
