I agree to some extent. But there has been too much going along to get along with Democrats. If the Democrats are not willing to work together with Republicans to keep America the most secure and prosperous nation in the world, then the Republicans need to step up their game to defeat them. This Democrat madness has gone way too far and there hasn't been enough opposition from Republicans. They are playing by the Marquess of Queensberry Rules while the Democrats rape the country. They need to take the gloves off and get busy because the weaker they oppose the more brash the Democrats will get. As soon as the Republicans step up to fight back, the Democrats will fold like a cheap suit. They are cowards who need to be confronted.

I'm not rooting for that. I think there is far more the Republicans could do and should have been doing for decades to push back in the political arena. I have been disappointed over and over again at the opportunities they missed including a much stronger backing of Trump right from the start. They need to get organized and start pushing back hard.

This is meant to be about the party leadership especially in Congress. I believe that they have done far too little to push back against the Democrat's socialist political assault which has been accelerating for decades and should have been addressed much more aggressively by Republican congressional leadership. There has been way too much going along to get along. That was fine in the old days when the debate was only about what the policies should be to make America better and there was a reasonable disagreement sometimes between parties. But when the debate shifted to "how can we fundamentally change America and destroy the America that exists today" that should have been a wakeup call to the Republican leadership to get their act together and defeat that movement. They were sleeping and still are... all except Trump that is.
