Maybe it goes back from decades ago, before cellphones existed when we just had regular telephones. 📞 ☎️
As a girl, starting my teenage years our Mom's told us we had to wait for him to call us first. That way we knew he was interested in us.
And if he didn't call, that meant that he wasn't interested in us.
Maybe it's still the Golden Rule that the guy always makes the first move.
I almost never message first, especially on here since many women here are a bit on the meaner/unfriendly side (at least online).. But I've been messaged first by decent amount of women over the years on here.. I would say that it's mostly not a myth though.. Many women are allergic to showing any type of interest online first.
No man, that's a myth, i have received tons of messages from women and some of them are very well known in here, plus as you can see that on this account and all my previous ones, 90% of my followers are all women whom i don't even follow back, maybe what's happening with me is very rare, but yeah women can send you a message first for sure!
