They think so, but no. Think of it like this. You ever see those generic game systems called "game stations". They'll come with like 300 preloaded games. "The sell" is that you get a game system with every game you could ever want. But the reality is there might be 40 worthwhile games on it. And a lot of them might be simple, kinda boring 8 bit games.

That is the way women view most men. You're lucky if they're remotely interested in 10% of the men they're presented with. And they'll look for reasons to dismiss those. Then complain about how there are no men.😆
