I could succeed a lot faster if I did what my enemies did which is brag about my problems for sympathy and attention, get volunteers to help me instead of paying them, and badmouth anybody who competes with me for attention or opportunities by telling people they are spoiled brats that eat at red lobster when they know I was abused so badly by my parents that it put my life in danger. I get less social esteem because I glorify God instead of my own ego and I do not brag about my good deeds and problems for attention and honour the way they do.

There's a difference between wanting to change something versus fighting like hell to actually make a change in your life.

Of course there are reasons. Some theirs some not. Life isn’t pure strategy like playing chess. It’s more like backgammon that requires strategy but also a little luck and that roll of the dice can go either way
