Facebook won't let me unlike a comment ?!? please help!

Basically I was scrolling down my news feed, I noticed my ex-boyfriend commented on a girl's photo. I just clicked the gif link he posted and after realized I had "liked" the comment BUT the only problem is that there was no "like" option to begin with since I'm not friends with that girl so I don't know how that happened. There is no way to "unlike" it since there is no button to. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS D:

Facebook acts weird on several occasions,i can't turn off chat for some people in friends list,they keep reappearing when I turn them off in chat

If the unlike button is missing, there's not a whole lot you can do I'm afraid
