Can a relationship with two leaders work?

as I get closer to this girl, I begin to realize that we are both leaders. with almost everything, sometimes I'll lead the way sometimes she'll lead the way.

i usually lead cause I'm the guy, but she often tries to lead as well.

i've always looked at myself as a natural born leader and I'm pretty sure she is too, so can a relationship like this work?

______relationships don't have a leader. its fluid. you discuss things and make decisions together. one person deciding what to do on Tuesday and the other deciding on Thursday does not mean that one person lead on Tuesday and the other lead on Thursday. its just bb and flow of energy.

sometimes one person is more assertive other times the other. but if its healthy than everyone has agency. everyone is in control of their own lives. which you don't have with a 'leader'.

no one is born a leader.no one is bon anything but naked. you become who you areas you experience life. as you are encouraged or discouraged from various behaviors activities persuits goals etc.

Be grateful that your girl is a driver in life and not a passenger. Realise that life is a journey, and on long journeys, drivers need to share the drive (meaning one becomes a passenger, while the other drives). Learn to compromise, learn to give and take... talk to her on this... your question is fair, and if she is a fair woman she'll understand the concern...

So a true leader can always adjust their leadership style to suit the situation. Because truly compassionate and empathetic leaders will know when it is the right time to put themselves forward or follow.

Because nobody can truly lead, until they learn to follow first.

So can two true leaders make it work? YES

But just because people refuse to follow does not make them a leader.
