Ok so I've catfished my ex on Facebook

I know what most of you all are going to say...I'm crazy for doing this, it's wrong, mean, stalkerish, weird lol I get it it's not right but hey I did it and I thought I share my catfish story for entertainment purposes. So me and my ex broke up a couple of weeks ago but I've been having this fake Facebook page for awhile and his been my friend on there every since I had it I really wasn't talking to him on their at first I liked a couple of his statuses I've posted statuses and shared funny photos and quotes and he started commenting on some of them. Now he has started to inbox me messages trying to get to know me asking me what I like to do what kind of music I like and today he told me I'm really down to earth and I can hold a conversation and he gave me his number and told me to text him from time to time. It's just really getting weird lol and it's funny that he is actually interested in this person who doesn't even know he exist at all and is actually his ex

I posted a status saying that "Just because I converse with you on here doesn't mean I'm lonely or looking for anything Facebook is only a past time not a dating service I'm not giving out my number and no we can't hang out thanks but no thanks" I posted that about a hour before he got on then he inbox me saying "I'm not looking for sex and not on some lonely sh*t, just looking for someone to converse with" So I'm thinking I need to deactivate my account because it's going to far

Its probably best to deactivate the account before things go further and he finds out the truth and you will look bad. If you still have feelings for him just talk to him, as you, and ask if you can still be friends and try to just reconnect.

You're absolutely right we just ended on a really bad note I said a lot of hurtful things because my heart was broke and I admit I'm not in very good control of my emotions so my reaction when I'm hurt is I try to hurt the one who hurt me I know it's not right and it's something I need to work on but I just think right now it's to soon to try and reconnect. I miss him a lot but I know he probably hates me and looks at me completely different now

Well if its been awhile just tell him what you told me. Let him know you realize you said hurtful things and explain why you do it and tell him that you are working on it and that you would like to at least be friends with him. If its too soon that is okay, do this when enough time has passed, but that is a better approach than catfishing(:

Love will make you act somewhat crazy sometimes I'm pretty sure you have at your moments you can so otherwise but who am I to judge you I don't know you personally

It's a just a reality show were people make fake profiles and talk to people online and that person actually falls for that person and these to guys set it up were they actually meet the real person
