I have been watching some Prom and graduation season mock accidents on YouTube where the story line was drunk driving. I was thinking watching that, should drunk drivers have be made to go to the funerals of their victims in order for them to be like “see what you did” and to seep in the reality of something that can never be undone. What do you think?

There’s downsides, like forcing low income families out. But does it end up ultimately helping those families? Economically?

Does the verb tense "is" mean he thinks Hannibal Lecter was real and not fictitious? Why is he congratulating a fictitious figure and a disturbed serial killer at that? Does he think Hannibal Lecter was an illegal immigrant? Is Hannibal Lecter a valid comparison to an illegal immigrant or do the two have nothing in common?

Me and a native friend I had were talking about this and she said native people had to worse and are still having a hard time. But also they get reparations because they are native and don't get taxed. Also they can walk around and not have to worry about being judged. But us we don't get anything and were always looked at as bad but which culture has it worse?

I would say this is truth personally. There is a rule i follow, A big rule, and one that is hard to follow because we are emotional beings.

The only sovereign you can allow to rule you is reason.

The first law of reason is this: what exists, exists; what is, is; and from this irreducible bedrock principle, all knowledge is built. It is the foundation from which life is embraced.

Thinking is a choice. Wishes and whims are not facts nor are they a means to discover them. Reason is our only way of grasping reality; it is our basic tool of survival. We are free to evade the effort of thinking, to reject reason, but we are not free to avoid the penalty of the abyss that we refuse to see. Faith and feelings are the darkness to reason's light. In rejecting reason, refusing to think, one embraces Idiocy.

Faith and feelings, are a device of self-delusion, a sleight of hand done with words and emotions founded on any irrational notion that can be dreamed up. Faith is the attempt to coerce truth to surrender to whim. In simple terms, it is trying to breathe life into a lie by trying to outshine reality with the beauty of wishes. Faith is the refuge of fools, the ignorant, and the deluded, not of thinking, rational people.
