These are the exact words from the speech:
"Silence of the Lamb. Has anyone ever seen The Silence of the Lambs? The late, great Hannibal Lecter is a wonderful man. He oftentimes would have a friend for dinner. Remember the last scene? “Excuse me. I’m about to have a friend for dinner.” As this poor doctor walked by. “I’m about to have a friend for dinner.” But Hannibal Lecter. Congratulations, the late great Hannibal Lecter. We have people who are being released into our country that we don’t want in our country, and they’re coming in totally unchecked, totally unvetted."
Does the verb tense "is" mean he thinks Hannibal Lecter was real and not fictitious? Why is he congratulating a fictitious figure and a disturbed serial killer at that? Does he think Hannibal Lecter was an illegal immigrant? Is Hannibal Lecter a valid comparison to an illegal immigrant or do the two have nothing in common?

This is disturbing! He probably thinks that Hannibal Lecter was real. I'm not surprised to see him praising a fictional serial killer. I guess he wants Hannibal Lecter to kill all illegal immigrants.
At a rally in NJ, Trump called Al Capone "the great Alphonse Capone."
Can't wait to hear him praise John Gotti next
He IS a mobster at heart so I won't be surprised.
Those must be the same doctors that convinced you to wear a slave mask for several years so they could identify which individuals are compliant low IQ sheep.
Ah, another adherent of modern science taking horse tranquilizers and UV light for a cure... I hear the flagella are coming to your town soon...
I'm actually formally trained biologist that focused in molecular biology, microbiology, and biotechnology while working in an immunology research laboratory in the college of medicine before moving onto graduate studies in biological engineering. Nice try though... I'm sure all that political science you studied makes you feel qualified to speak down to actual experts though.
Yes. It does. It's settled science. Masks prevent respiratory disease transmission. Do keep up.
I'm sure your mom is real proud of your doctorate degree in postmodern gynocentric African anal bead weaving. She probably even hung it on the refrigerator. That said, just because mask fashion is settled social "science" in your political circles, doesn't mean it's actual science dipshit.
