For some reason, various entities have dubbed the American public unique among the entire world and “not ready” for them. One thing they certainly share in common is the typical argument that tries to conflate the physical setting of a branch with its effectiveness: “

Postal banking does, however, face an additional, uniquely American obstacle; namely, the polarizing effect of involving the government in day-to-day life. The bottom line is: Once you change the question from, “How can banks expand service to less-profitable areas?” to, “Should the U. S. government start its own bank?” then you have taken a conversation about a smart business practice and hopelessly derailed it into one about political opinions, moral imperatives, and right versus wrong. That will be sorted out in a matter of years or decades, if ever.

In the meantime, the core concept behind either postal or agency banking – running leaner, more efficient branches through creative infrastructure and staffing arrangements – applies remarkably well to the problems facing brick-and-mortar banks today. Lower foot traffic, higher costs per transaction, and changing customer preferences can all be addressed this way; and banks in other countries have already done exactly that.

In today’s society, men face biases in areas like family court, mental health, and societal expectations, while trans men face challenges related to gender identity, medical transition, and social acceptance. But which group do you think experiences more societal bias overall? Do men deal with more unspoken discrimination, or do trans men face greater societal pushback?

That's more probable now than ever, likely a small nuclear reactor. I have an old reactor not far from my house... my #1 desire is make sure that sucker is 100% solid! USA hasn't built a reactor in a long time and it's likely, we will build more to power all this stuff we think we need, smaller and with less regulation.

I filed and paid for a K-1 Visa application, Forms I-129F Petition For Alien fiancée, to bring my wife and step daughter to be to the USA to marry her. Once they arrived and we were married, I filed and paid for a Forms I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence (Green Card). As a part of that application, I was also required to file and pay for a Forms I-864, Affidavit of Support.

That meant that if we were not married, their visas would have expired and they would have been deported. It also meant that I was and am required to support them entirely with no Federal Government subsidy. The entire process cost about $4,000.

Are you willing to apply for Visas and Green cards for illegal aliens to remain living and working in the United States? It would be your responsibility to fully provide support for them and keep them out of trouble. No such arrangement exists but during the whole arrest and deportation operation, something like this WILL come up and I think President Trump would try this out. Some kind of (I made this up) Humanity Visa.

So, are you willing to put your money where your mouth is, as I did for my wife and step daughter? Or do you think it is someone else's responsibility? It's one thing to Virtue Signal about these poor, innocent immigrants, breaking up families, etc. and actually sacrificing for them because you are just soooo good.

Like when you hire lawn maint crew, or contractors... do you try to look for different races, genders, religions, etc? Do you even care or do you care about the quality of work, reputation, trust, cost? Would you favor say... a lesbian/black/white/jewish/muslim/male/female cake baker over someone else? Or do you only care about reputiation, quality of product, cost?

The US government may not be imposing requirements on corporations, but you can certainly be hiring people of all classifications and differentiations. You get the dollar vote!

To me the answer is obvious. I've never asked someone if they are LGBTQ! straight or anything else. I don't care. I want to know the cake they bake is good quality, within cost I'll pay. I didn't ask my water service company about their hiring policies... it's none of my business.
