Who is having more impact on the world right NOW, Biden or Trump as Europe, Nato, Japan, China and Russia are all reacting to Trump and preparing for his return.

Europe is rapidly expanding their military spend because they know Trump will be after them. Trump is influencing these nations to spend billions of dollars. Every nation is watching Trump. Biden is not on their front pages as he doesn’t influence them. But what is your take?

In other words, eventually that the UK would just allow it's four countries to go their separate ways as independent countries. Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England. I for one just wonder since below the surface there sure "seems to be" a lot of insistence on local languages and local cultural norms that, I just wonder myself how long can English or English norms reign supreme lol over time. I'm not a fan of bilingual countries as I find one language hard enough lol, my own English, lol. And no im not English. I just speak English, lol.

Sure there's that whole national United kingdom aspect and there's the supremacy to a degree of England and the English. I just wonder, in some senses of the words, would you characterise the Welsh people or the Northern Irish people as "submissive" in the relationship and the English the "dominant" one who wears the pants? Socially, politically, economically, culturally or just for giggles this question I ask. Politely and as a fantasy, respectfully.

I'm feeling a bit of 'a lull' or a slow news week or even slow news year so far 2024. Some days I hope for a stock market decline worldwide, just because I feel like the last recession generated news stories for months on end, even for a year or two lol.
