Why do tall black girls play basketball, and tall white girls play volleyball?

It could just be the culture. Because Black people generally tend to be tall, I'd suppose that Black girls grew up seeing a lot of their people, especially men play basketball from a young age and maybe they joined in and grew up playing basketball as well. But in case of White girls when they are tall people are like 'hey u should play volleyball's so that could be the reason, I think. 🤷

Simply because basketball requires tall people and naturally many basketball players have been Black. Black people know this is a sport they can play well so they enjoy it more and play it more, this is why Black people grow up seeing others playing basketball or playing by themselves.

This isn't the case for White people. But I noticed that certain sports that require upper body strength are popular among girls, like tennis and volleyball, because women naturally have weaker upper bodies and playing these sports helps to gain more strength. And volleyball players need to be tall. Maybe that's why taller White girls are encouraged to play volleyball and they do.

Basketball isn't super popular outside a few countries.

Black girls play basketball because they had black fathers and brothers who used to break their ankles and post them up haha. Dad didn't take them to the beach, but the courts were probably closer to their house.

Basketball is fairly international I'd say. I'm not sure there's a more popular international sport besides soccer / "football." Maybe golf or tennis? I'd have to think about it, but I don't think there's a more popular team sport.

Here in France girls don't like sports, in class they just sit and are on their phone.

Personally I didn't basketball cause my friend introduced me to it and I like it much more than others sort.
I'm extremely bad at volley only stuff I do right is the serving, I never miss it; i always do it perfectly XD

Me and my dad were talking about that too. French women aren't in the tournament.
Maybe women, because men are good at soccer and rugby. But I've actually never seen a French female athlete. I'm sure there are but I guess not many.

I hate badminton that's so annoying, everytime we were kicked out of our sport class we had to go to a very tiny class and play badminton or ping pong.

One time with softball, my teacher told me not to run right away because someone could catch the ball and get me out. So next time I hit and just stood there, then me and another guy ended up on the same base and I got out.
I HATE baseball.

But the stupidest was when they allowed a wheel chair girl to take PE.

In France in my class they were a girl that had a problem with her hand (hard time writing because of some stuff that I don't remember) and she never went to PE. Nobody said anything about it.
