The rules say that women can be on boys teams if there is no girls teams. It also says girls must have the same opportunity…
So are schools mandated to let boys be cheerleaders now. I know there is guy cheerleaders at the collage level but

In highschool, a male classmate of mine played professional volleyball on state-level.
Also in PE we did like choose what you want to do in a group and I bassically lead a cheerleader team. Additional Info this "choose your thing" was over 2 years and we did dancing in general just at the end we did cheerleading specifically. the Cheerleading wasn't for something specific, not for one team, but we later did a choreography while the biggest group did a football (sorry soccer for those americans here) tournament. Back to the actual question, we where mostly girls but had 2 guys with us doing dancing and also cheerleading in this group.
So yes I know male volleyball players and also male cheerleaders, even if the latter where only for a short time.
I thought cheerleading was a sexual thing. A bit of flirtinaskirt for the fans and a little changing room fun for the players. I can't see either being happy with male cheerleaders.
Changing room fun?
Males play volleyball all the time it's just weird school been sexist if they don't let you. And cheerleaders why not? Would turn me off because I'm not gay but just cause I would find it bleh don't mean others shouldn't be able to do it.

Indeed, young men can become team promoters and play volleyball. Volleyball and cheerleading are two gender-neutral sports that are open to everyone. Boys are now encouraged to join volleyball and cheerleading teams by a lot of schools and organizations. It is critical to advance equivalent open doors and variety in sports, permitting everybody to seek after their inclinations and gifts no matter what their orientation.
