Does anyone on here like rugby league?

I just watched game 1 of the QLD vs NSW state of origin series. It was such a tense and exciting game. Bodies flying everywhere, fights breaking out, amazing tries out of nowhere.

For those uninitiated, rugby league is similar to rugby union but simplified and with 2 less players on each team. It is much easier to understand why that was a penalty etc.

Rugby union dominates here in wales but that's more a cultural thing than a fault with league. It Could have went in favour of league because of social similarities and mining relationships with north east England but in the end it boiled down to money.

I only watch state of origin. I seriously got confused when NSW came out because I thought they were a different team. I'm used to them wearing light blue.

Yes I watch nrl I follow the Wests Tigers but we have not made finals in 12 Years some tough times still love them

I remember when they used to be Balmain Tigers and Wests were magpies. Those were the days. I'm not a fan of the joint ventures.
