I’m at work feeling ill af but I’m tuned in for the breakdancing set thats about to start in a few mins. Its the only thing I looked forward to other than surfing and skateboarding. Rhythmic gymnastics was actually pretty cool too. The other night I was fangirling more than Snoop and Tony Hawk when my babe Tom Schaar was skating. But Snoop actually got to touch his hand 😩 Lucky bastard. Snoops energy has been on point at the olympics. I bet he's pumped for the breaking haha. #FeelFreeToList

I’m glad Japan at least won (if America couldn’t) because i’d consider both of those countries to be the best and most familiar with breakdancing. But for this specific live olympics event, I don’t think Japan’s girl did better than Netherlands, China and Lithuania. But whatever, im not the judge

Welp its over now. I can say I've become a huge fan of
Netherland’s Lee/India, Korea’s Hongten, Japan’s Hiro10/Shigekix, France’s Danny/Lagaet/Syssy, USA’s Jeffro, Logistx, AU’s Jattack, China’s Lithe-ing/671, Taiwan’s Quake, Morocco’s Billy, Italy’s Anti, Lithuania’s Nicka, and Ukraine’s Stefani/Kate. I personally don’t think Ami of Japan nor Phil of Canada deserved gold. I’m shocked they even made top 5. The silver winners should’ve been the gold medalists 🤷‍♀️

Overall it was a good call not to watch Australian gender studies professor RaGun humiliate herself on a world stage. Seems she thinks breakdance is gender biased against women and has to change.

Also turns out that selection of a contestant was delegated from one body to another till it ended up with an organization run by her and her husband. What a surprise that a Gender Studies Professor would choose to abuse a position to select herself.

Apart from everybody laughing at her self humiliation, she has indigenous professors calling out her racism. It was quite offensive as indigenous dance mimics animals very artfully and her Kangaroo section was indeed racist mockery.
