As the second most populated country of the world, We are teeming with creativity and innovation. We are making new inventions to help the people out there.

Out ot the box inventions made by Indian people for the global people ? 🤔🤔

GREEN LIVING – STREETS MADE OF PLASTIC

Like many other countries MY COUNTRY grapples with massive plastic waste. Chemistry professor Rajagopalan Vasudevan, devised a way to transform common plastic litter into a substitute for bitumen— the main ingredient in asphalt used for road construction.

Known as the “Plastic Man,” Vasudevan’s ingenious invention has already paved 3,000 miles (5,000 kilometers) of plastic thoroughfares in at least 11 Indian states.

If someone is utilizing this garbage for the betterment of country then it’s showing his devotion to the country, India. "

EDUCATION – CARDBOARD BOXES TRANSFORMED INTO DESKS

In rural areas of india, resources are limited and schools are affected. Most students do not have proper desks, making learning more difficult contributing to poor eyesight and posture.

Marketing company DDB India and non-profit Aarambh came with a solution called help desk. Made from discarded carton, it costs only 20 ruppee. (approximately 0.31 US Dollar)

Help desks are making a huge impact on the lives of students of my country. It is also available for other countries to use for their children. No doubt, it is an impressive idea to help the needy and poor students to get better Education.

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE – BREATHING TRANSLATES TO SPOKEN COMMUNICATION

As most of my friends on this site might be aware that I love reading books, articles, journals and eBooks. Before few days I was reading one article.

At the age of 16, Arsh Shah Dilbagi , came up with a revolutionary invention that has the potential to change the lives of people with developmental disabilities and speech impairments.

TALK is an AAC augmentative and alternative communication device – that converts breaths into synthesized sentences or speak-out commands and phrases.

His patent-pending technology got the attention of the world – Dilbagi was a finalist at the Google 2014 Science Fair and the portable invention will hopefully be on the market in the near future.

UNIVERSE – DISCOVERING MARS

The Indian Space Research Organization set its sights on Mars with the Mangalyaan provides important information about Mars with exploration of the planet’s surface and atmosphere.

SIGHT AND MOVEMENT – SHOES THAT MOBILIZE THE VISUALLY-IMPAIRED

Haptic technology uses vibration force or movement to communicate via the sense of touch, and is the backbone of Lechal shoes. Nestled in the insole, Lechal’s technology guides users with a series of vibrations that indicates which direction to walk.

These special shoes allow visually impaired people to move around with confidence and security as their shoes and programmed GPS technology will take them to their desired destination.

As an added bonus, for every purchase of a pair of LECHAL footwear, the cost of the insoles will be subsidized for a visually-challenged individual.

This shoe is changing the lives of many people living in MY COUNTRY.

Such activities from Indian people are proving their worth world-wide.

I can see lot of bad comments, India doesn't send its sons to fight elite wars to force democracy on some other country, doesn't loot, plunder and destabilize countries for oil.

Now India and china are in a position to dump dollar and trade oil in gold which will be the fall of dollar.

Indians need to stop having so many children. They are at about 2 billion in that country alone... and they poop in the streets there in many places. They literally have designated defecation streets and that's where "poo in the loo" comes from.

India population is equivalent to 17.74% of the total world population.

I see one toilet built as a real change. With over 31.83 lakh toilets built, massive public sector undertakings and avid participation, I do have complete hope and trust in this pioneering campaign.

I don't thinks these will change the world. Some ideas are just straight up bad. Cardboard desks are fragile and don't have long longevity. Plasti streets is just absurd, same reason as for cardboard desks : there are awy more durable alternatives. India isn't the first and only one to observe Mars.

Before Indians build streets out of plastic they really need to work on demolishing all the buildings that encroach onto roads in India forcing cars and pedestrians into oncoming traffic, and also to build sidewalks or some other means for people to feel safe walking along the roads.

There are sidewalks where it's physically possible to build one. The problem is population. There are just so many people everywhere that it's impossible to do anything as there just isn't enough space for all these people.
Then there's the problem of corruption so yeah, streets of plastic will at least do some good, I guess.

Just like that, Amazon echo dot costs 3400 INR in India and 50$ in US. If you compare prices, they're almost equal expect for import and export fees ( 50$ = 3273 INR)
