How long does it take you to respond to a text?

Lol they vary for me if texting-
Mom: I’ll text 5-10 mins later
Dad: I’ll prob text back never
Boyfriend: I’ll text back immediately
Best Friends: I’ll send multiple texts before a reply
Other Friends: I’ll text back an hour/half later
Other Fam: I’ll text back hours later

But for the Most Part i text back immediately

I'll check my phone within a few mins if I get a text, but my urgency of texting back depends on the urgency of the text.

"My car broke down in (city) can u come get me please?" ,

gets a more immediate response than,

"Hey fuckface, I'm kicking ass in this game online right now!"

Depends, I usually text back minutes or hours later because I´m not really interested in the conversations. However, if it´s from someone/ friend I like or find interesting I respond immediately despite the circumstances (college lol). That being said, if they take their time to respond, I´d change their rank as a priority to less important and mimic the same behavior. I said it before but I just don´t see the point in texting fast if I´d get a response after a time. It only frustrates me.

I HATE TEXTING WITH ALL MY HEART. Yet, I still reply to some that require particular infos like when I'm coming home, or what I am doing at a certain time with purpose of meeting up. I despite texting a small talk like
"how are you?"
"eating, you?"
"nothing. whatchu eating?"
I have a small circle of people (my mom, cousin, boyfriend, and 2 close friend) to whom I will answer maybe in between 15 minutes and 2 hours.
If it's someone else, it might take half a day to weeks.

As for how long it takes. I try to remember what the other persons job or schedual they keep. Sure I like responses right away. However I also am realistic. I don't get hung up over a response time thats longer then I'd like. I'll just call and leave a voice mail. Then its totally up to them. Their response time lets me know where I stand on their importance list.

If it's an unimportant few hours.
If it's someone "special" I respond when i see, or when i have avaliable time.

But I always answer.

What I do not admit is someone's answer 1 week later. If that happens, I totally disregard that person.

I usually take a few hours to a day to reply because I don’t spend my day looking at my phone. When someone significant texts me (best friend, boyfriend, mom or dad) I reply around 20mins later.

Now if I’m having a conversation with a person (it’s not just small talk) then I reply within a few minutes but then I get busy and forget to reply.
