What do you think of the Cybertruck?

It will do an outstanding job at killing more people in view of the fact that it seems to have less flexible structure that allows for shock impact spreading on the hood.
A perfect killing machine that will certainly please all those that make a buck on death like funeral homes and the likes.
But what can you expect from a guy like Elon Musk that has less than no feelings and that needs to demean, spit on, swear and humiliate his employees.
It looks about as impractical as a truck as these two.

On one hand, the design is cool in a unique way. But on the other hand, for $40k, I'd much rather get an Audi TT, Mercedes CLA or C Class Coupe, or even just upgrade from my older Mustang GT to a 2019 model and get tinted windows and sequential tail-lights with the leftover money.
Maybe I'd get it for $20k, but $40k? It's not so much that I dislike it, but that there are just better options for the same price point.
I don't get it, I thought the whole point of it was to be competative against the pickup market and get some people away from the f-150
The fact that the car is electric is already gonna make it hard to get those people but now it has no bed? And it looks like a tank out of an old flash game. It's just silly looking.
Had higher hopes

It’s a work in progress. Which is kinda the whole point of Tesla.
no no no... It looks like it coz Tony Stark built it out of scrap metal while being stranded in a cave.
OH. MY. GOD… Elon Musk is Tony Stark… it makes so much sense now
It is massive and made for hauling. The bed is bigger than any truck on the market. It can haul more than any pick up out there. And the starting price $40,000. All electric, it will be cheaper than any diesel truck. It is basically a tank.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/DG9ezAuSn4cNeeds to be an actual truck, to call itself a Cybertruck. Looks more like an updated DeLorean to me. And I'm not fond of the all-electric model. A hybrid of gas and electric, sure. Granted, the DMC-12 was a timeless model. But I expected more from the man who would presume to colonize Mars.
I don't think it has a chance against either of these...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/EgvyDbXhcJQhttps://www.youtube.com/embed/H1NaMJouHAYI love it. I am seriously considering purchasing one for my company vehicle.
I like the fact that it's like nothing on the road today.
I love it's range I'm convinced about electric cars and range really is the only hang up
Seriously I'm probably purchasing one.
Three thoughts:
I bet those tyres are bloody expensive!
In what country do you need a bullet-proof vehicle?
Is it stealth?
FWIW, the metal ball they threw at the windows was about 5-10cm diameter, so about 1000x the mass of a bullet, making up for a lot of the speed difference. (I'm open to correction on the physics!)
ok I know a lot of people hate it but I LOVE it. It is no compromise engineering, it looks like Elon gave his designers complete freedom to do what they wanted and they came up with this. I love that it has so many pre-orders already, I love it isn't expensive, and I love the Tesla self-driving technology.
That really looks ugly.
When Elon Musk tried to showcase the truck’s durability by having Tesla’s chief designer chuck a metal ball at one of the pickup truck’s armored windows, the window ended up cracking.
It actually has good design features for climate change.

That's not a truck at all, I don't see how it can carry much, feels like its filling the role of something like the avalanche
I am loving all the memes coming out of it, it's just so shitty it's good
Shitty? Look at it's killer specs first beside the memes lol!
Well it's competing with regular light duty commute pickups, it's definitely competitive no doubt. As a truck though, it has basically no bed, it fills more of the role of an SUV.
I'm definitely biast because I drive on the commercial level, where reliability, distance, towing capacity, and strength are factors. Not daily commutes or daily activities.
Looks like one of the cars from the old arcade game Hard Drivin’ lmao
https://www.youtube.com/embed/g6JC-HCNcioIf it looks like that, it’s ugly. Different doesn’t always mean awesome.. it just looks interesting for a little while because it’s something “new”, but looks awful really.
I'm signing up to get one. I like the look because it's different. I'm sick of everything looking basically the same these days. I hope they don't change it too much by the time production rolls around. Guess most people here haven't done their research on it, thinking it doesn't have a bed, can't tow much, and they're clueless about it's specs. It's gonna be a great ride.
Personally, not a fan. Looks super futuristic.
A friends dad ordered it though, kinda interested in seeing how it turns out and how it looks in person.
Straight up ugly as all hell! Musk writes checks his drains can't cash, time and time again, and this is yet another example. It's like the car Homer Simpson designed, except worse!
It makes me think that if you're going to build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
Besides, the stainless steel construction makes the flux dispersal-- [looks at watch] Look out!
It uses less resources and you can load it faster than any other truck on the market because it has fewer polygons.
it looks like a stop motion cartoon vehicle to me lmao
Not very appealing but maybe it's the future... who knows?🤷♀️
Looks like a cheesy prop from a cheap 1980's Sci-Fi film, where they went for the fastest construction method by having no complicated curves, see DeLorean.
Stupid gimmick with basically no redeeming qualities.
Honestly I thought it was a joke when I first heard about it.
Please don't tell me it's going to run on Windows...😣
Functionally awesome, visually they should turn up the polygon count.
I dont like it i dont feel bad whoever made that shit
So ugly. This replica looks like Minecraft and roblox had a baby.
The Cypertruck may offer more options & more cargo space (100 square feet vs a F150's 52 to 77 sq feet) but it is in one word an eyesore. I get they were trying for something utterly unique but was the designer drunk or a kid playing with an old mecho set? For the price you'd expect something classy not something that'll make people think wtf is *that*.
Ugh, hell no. If anyone rolled up in this I would LAUGH. They tried way too hard to make it look futuristic and high-tech but it just looks godawful. This very well could be a 3D printed free model someone ripped from Roblox and no one would know.
at first I hated it. now I kinda like it. My favorite is still the model 3 tho
Looks straight out of some Playstation game made in 1997.
I thought it looked silly until I read the specs -- especially for the tri motor. Wow!
It needs more work, people need to get used to the look, i don’t care for it as a truck.
I don't know anything about cars but I like the design. It looks weird and futuristic.
Ugly Ass Non-Truck!!! Would be Useless as a Truck!!!
Sorry Elon, but your truck design is stupid.
Unless he genuinely revealed this as a meme, which he claimed.
Can't help but feel like it's looks a little too familiar... 🤔
A 55mm gatlin gun would destroy it. He should of took advice from a company who makes tanks. But to charge only 35g its perfect for city life. It would protect my family from creepers on streetsit needs weapons.
Who fucking knows. Not like I have the money to buy that shit. Even if I did I hate driving, you wanna be revolutionary? Start walking places. It increases your health and saves the environment.
I like it. It’s futuristicy looking. It’s good to keep progressively getting better and thinking outside the box. Maybe you could get some solar panels on it too.
It looks so hideous. Like something a kid designed.
That's 3D modelling by an absolute beginner. Sorry.
It's ugly as hell. I saw that on tv a few days ago and couldn't believe tesla made such an ugly truck. I was thinking who the fuck would drive that
It’s cool, but it’s like a bad 80s futuristic movie. Makes me want to dress like a character from the Bladerunner movie. 😂
Could be cool, but it seems Tesla’s entire existence is based on marketing. That worries me. Could be why some Tesla’s are experiencing some mechanical difficulties...
I'll take a regular old truck over this thing time and time again.
Prototype stealth truck from the 70's. With less class.
I have no clue why people hate it. As a mech engineer, I absolutely love it. And the design is very efficient.
It's definitely on the weird side but honestly I like that is different. I can't say I like it but I don't hate it
Reminds me of the movie, Demolition Man.
Its fine, if you dont like it you dont need to buy it.
Its starting anyway at 39999$, not that expensive.
It looks like a car from the first Tomb Raider
It's ugly as fuck. How they agreed on that design is beyond me. It looks like something out of a B grade movie about the future from the 1980s.
Straight out of an 80's sci-fi dystopia. Fantastic.
That's the stupidest and most unaerodynamic thing I have ever seen
I thought boxy cars went out of style in the late 80s and 90s..
Worst part, it doesn't even transform into a robot.
A bit of a strange look. But the specs are incredible. Just shows us of all the great technology coming out.

Not too shabby
It appears to be a graphical representation of something that doesn't exist, like Donald Trump's integrity.
It a great truck where the future need no gas and depend on the electricity but the capacity and the speed with the capacity didn't specified except the glass break everything is fine about it
I saw the video. And I have to say, we are living in the future... of shit.
Haha😂😂 not in Texas we use our trucks for work what ever the work may be
