Android has more brands and price points to choose from. iPhone is limited to just one manufacturer. So for Android you can typically get a better phone at the cheaper price points. iPhones are produced on a larger scale so for older phones replacement parts are more likely to be available. Different applications may only be available for iPhone or only for Android, so it also depends on what applications you can't live without. The most expensive phones have the most expensive repairs until they become less popular. If you wanted to have good audio, video and photo quality in a new phone without having to make a choice iPhones would be the most consistent. If you wanted to have your phone modified in both the operating system and hardware, Android would have the most options. Every year it can quickly change on which phone has the best technology, the phone market is very competitive, so one year iPhone may have the best expensive phone, the next year Android might be the winner. For software developers iPhone is easier to verify hardware compatibility, Android has way too many variations in hardware components, so for developers that means more drivers and testing for specialty software and the operating system. iPhones seem to be easier to locate when lost since the all typically have the same location software. Android phones have more choices for phones for easy battery removal. The cheapest new iPhone is $399. You can find a lot of great $99 Android phones, so Android is best for the money, but research will be required depending on what you want to do with it and how frequently you will replace it.
Android gives you a lot more freedom the store is a lot more open and you can side load apps not in the store.
Apple always seems to be the choice of style conscious individuals. And individuals who don't have the know how to navigate the complexities of Android.
I'm will admit Apple brought the smartphone to the masses because before that there was pocket pc and Symbian. People laughed at us for picking a bulky phone like that but we where the pioneers of mobile tech and most of us will have gone to Android.Neither is better as a whole, but each is better in certain aspects.
It's pretty much PC vs xbox/playstation
IPhone is like Xbox/playstation.
You get a fancy complete package of preset features in a nice shell.
Android is like PC
You get the shell you like, with the hardware you want and for the features it's up to you to add and adjust them.
It all depends on if you want a set package deal or want to be more hands on with it.
I prefer android because I want to be able to make it my own. That's also why I prefer PC over console. In the end with both android and PC you have more optional features.
IPhone and consoles on the other hand have specific specialized features that they were built for and you can't get on the alternatives.I will never buy an iPhone, last I was told. When one breaks, you are told to buy a new one because fixing the old one will cost between $1,000 to $2,000, and they don't open it to see if anything is broken. They don't let unauthorized repair dealers see repair manuals or wiring diagrams, and any are threatened with a $500,000 Lawsuit. one time a iPhone was taken to an unauthorized repair dealer, and he opened one of the phones that didn't work, he found that a wire had come unhooked because of the way it had been routed, it was too short if it had routed in a different way the wire length would have been fine, that reman put routed the wire the other way and put a new end on the wire, so the cost of for the parts for that repair was $5.00 the phone was put back together and worked fine, the guy that fixed the phone, said since it was simple repair he did not charge his normal shop repair fee
Android for me personally had nothing but bad reception, extremely short battery and phone life. Unstable, phones themselves were all buggy crashing left and right. Apple has been a tiny fraction of the frustration I’ve had with Android. Apple for me.
I had an iphone, then it near went on fire as the charger was faulty, was replaced with another iphine, that to developed a fault, then another and another...
Im now andriod now. Iphones are 2 much hassleI have a Samsung s10 and it's still smooth as fuck and never lags after 2 years of abuse.
My parents have an iphone, and it's like I'm using some technology from the 90s whenever I have to lay my hands on it to fix it for them. So unintuitive, too.iPhones spy on your photo's and don't allow you to install anything apple does not approve off. They also go out of their way to be hard to repair and set stupidly annoying industry trends. Android is much better, but unfortunately some brands are copying apples behavior.
I think the question should have been, which one you are more comfortable with.
I am an android user but given choice, I would still be with Samsung.
Both are amazing OS but both have very different market.
Android are more specs looking, tech savvy you can say.
iOS market goes more over anesthetics and is okay with the premium and the closed wall.Neither are "better." They have pros and cons that appeal to different people with different interests. For example, iPhone is trendier and often times is at the forefront of new and hip features, while Android is highly customizable.
But I prefer android of the two.Iphone is the driving force to make devices more expensive to repair, or impossible. They also make them shittier, not as good parts, screens etc.
Batteries are way smaller. Yes they burn a bit less battery per min so in hours they don't last that bad when new. However with lower capacity will die a lot faster due to dropped voltages.
I could go on for years. Androids aren't perfect either with their pile of shenanigans but so far still far ahead of these business practices.I like the iPhone better and that's what I have. Maybe people will consider me "old-fashioned" since I don't keep up on all the latest technologies but I still have an iPhone 7 that my mom got me 2 years ago.
Depends what you want to do.
If you want to be locked into an ecosystem with a phone your grandmother has, then it's iPhone. if you want a real phone and which you can do what you like with, then it's Android.I honestly don't think an iphone can do anything for me they my Android doesn't do at a fraction of the cost. But I just use text, call, and internet on this thing so don't get all the hype. Plus my camera is perfectly fine too.
Android phone is cheaper, allows more flexibility and functions by the user, and has the market share of smart phones in the world. Apple is expensive and forces the user to do things the Apple way.
I use to be one of those stubborn Android users who did not want an iPhone but once I got one I love it. Team iPhone 📱 whenever I use my android (WiFi) it annoys me.
iPhone is my preference. Mainly for the cute little apple on the back. 🙃
As far as I can see, iPhone UI is a bit slicker and more focused as well as being more restrictive.
Personally, I don't want to pay for the name and the kudos so I buy older Android phones which fundamentally do the exact same thing.Android= Freedom to customize the experience.
Android= Better technology innovation.
IPhone offers the same Bull year after year under a different name and you suckas keep giving them your money.I like the IPhone because it’s simplistic but I’ve never had an Android so I can’t really judge haha.
