Anyone else get anxiety posting on social media?

I get massive anxiety posting on instagram especially, both in my stories and my posts. Does anyone else feel the same way? I’m not anxious in real life, I thought I was quite confident. But I always overthink my social media posts, and get anxiety that people will judge me if I post something they don’t like. Anyone else?

You care too much about what others think about you online. That’s where your anxiety is striving off of. Try to take it slow when posting things post what you like post what you want to, if you’re afraid of posting a controversial topic then post it on your close friends or don’t it’s okay. We all have our own thoughts and opinions really. Are you in high school? I used to be that way when I was in high school but after time I began forgetting about those thoughts and started posting whatever I wanted. I used to be one of those kpop obsessed fans and would post hundreds of edits of kpop stars I was a fan of. If you look at other peoples stories you can see that people really just don’t care, they’ll post weed they’ll post self promoting posts they’ll posts stupid memes they’ll post pictures of their dogs they’ll post pictures and videos of a night out they had the day before or they post tiktoks etc. So, why can’t you post what you want to post? Don’t let them dictate what you can and cannot post only YOU get to decide that for yourself.

Yes I do! I’m also on TikTok a bit and overthink everything I post there as well. You’re not alone
