I had deleted few important pics related to my work around 2 years back. Are there any free softwares to recover those pics?

The quick answer is: if you deleted these files 2 years ago, the chances of being able to "undelete them" via file recovery is very close to zero UNLESS you've barely used the device over the last 2 years.

When you delete a file, the file isn't really "deleted". Instead, the location of all of the pieces of that file are deleted out of the INDEX of the storage media. But, sooner or later, the device is going to need to use that storage space for some other file, and so parts or all of the data from your old file will be overwritten by new data. Once this happens, your old data is gone forever (unless you're prepared to pay for FBI/CIA-level file recovery, which is eye-wateringly expensive, and far from guaranteed to be successful).

If you deleted that file today, you would likely be able to recover it today without much trouble, but something you deleted several years ago has not only almost certainly been overwritten - it's likely it's been overwritten several different times at least, if you've been using the device in the meantime.

Depends what you deleted them from. If from your cloud, then you can get them back from your service provider.

If from your pc, then its unlikely
