How do mining activities work, especially the technical equipment of the coal mines in your country, the inspection in terms of occupational health and safety and the measures taken? Are your mines modern or primitive? What is the death rate in mining accidents? I think mines in my country work with the old system, not modern. Necessary checks are made, but since there is an accident, there is nothing anyone can do. No one can prevent the accident. This applies to all countries. We have been experiencing mining accidents for over 100 years. Thousands of miners died. Why is this happening?

The last coal mine in my country was closed in 1974.

why and where do you live?

I live in the Netherlands. The mines were closed because a huge natural gas field was found in our country in the 1960s. It was decided to use that for our energy supply.
