Does anyone know how to fix this issue on Microsoft Office Word 365?

I have made a new account on Microsoft Word. But when i opened a blank document to type on it, it said “View only. (My email) doesn’t allow editing on a Mac”. I use Macbook Pro.
And why is this happening? I need help but nothing to seem to be helping on the Microsoft website itself

It could be because your Microsoft account or license is expired. Most times for me if I open it a few times it'll let me finally write something. That's why I hate Office Word and use Google Docs. Much simpler and no subscription required, it's just linked to your Google account.

Google Docs has similar things. One of the great things about it is that you can download your documents into any form, pdf or even Microsoft Word.

You don't have a valid 365 Mac licence, kiddo.

Use Google apps instead to edit, else buy a 365 Mac licence.

Already bought the 365 for mac before, i just needed to Activate the account again that’s it

Sometimes it just requires you to click the notice and the. Hit allow

Maybe you can try creating and outlook email account and linking that to your Word.
