Does anyone Else on Here Find REDDIT Pathetic?

******I have Been on It Off and On for a Few Years (I do Enjoy Some of the Categories) and with ANY PROFILE to be Most Helpful, They always Find a Lame Duck Excuse to Ban me. It was ONLY this Last Time, They Discovered my Other OTHER accounts I had Once Used to Get Back in. They sure are Different than Here. They Could Learn from Gag!!! Any thoughts? xxoo

Yes but nobody will keep commenting if they keep getting downvoted by a bunch of sheeple. So over time the people who disagree get pushed away and only the believers remain. There might be someone with a free thought once in a while who shows up but they will be quickly discouraged from coming back.
I just don't like all these gatekeeping redditors

a piece of shit who's been somewhere for a while and knows how to follow the unwritten rules can downvote a great commenter who's making a great point just because they didn't express it in a way that's acceptable to this specific subreddit that's why I hate reddit it encourages petty assholes and people who suck in real life and want some kind of power.

Yes, me.. I don't post there anymore, because of the downvotes. Even when you're polite and not breaking any of the rules, you can still get downvoting for expressing an unpopular opinion. If you disagree/argue with them, you could get banned/suspended from that sub, or even from the sub as a whole.

I actually like reddit a lot better. It has so much more to offer. This side it basically one or two subreddits while reddit has thousand of them. The thing that I like here is that it is more personal which is a reason I am here too. But if you dont like it because they banned you there had to be reason for the bans.

I’ve been on there but they wouldn’t let me comment on another category because I commented on a sexual category so I wasn’t allowed to comment on regular category, it’s definitely a strange site with many categories that even allow nudes on the posts but ban you from commenting on other posts, very strange

I've been on their a few times, not a lot though. There seems to be a lot of weird things people post. I guess though, some things people are too embarrassed to talk about in real life, so they go there, I guess I can understand that.

I don't know how it works though. Whenever I do go on there, it always says my account name is "Recent access 19284' or something like that, so I'm not even sure how to use it anyway!

Reddit necessitates you create multiple accounts to get around the censorship system which is pretty stupid. People want to preserve their accounts though so they go out of their way to not voice anything that could draw ire such as a simple disagreement.

I don't. I mainly use it for my interests and hobbies and never have any issues. I also enjoy perusing the weird and wacky subreddits for the laughs. You really find out how weird the world can be. Poopknife was pure gold and I never would have known this is a real thing that people hide in shame from. Makes you wonder what other harmless things people keep secret because of fear societal shame.

I think a lot of it has to do more with the reddit moderators. I've noticed a lot of the mods are easily offended by words. I got banned from commenting because i said something offensive even though it wasn't remotely offensive. Got told by a mod what i said was reported as offensive by the person whose post i commented on. So per moderator rules of said subreddit anything reported as offensive was an automatic commenting ban.

I’ve never spent any time on Reddit. I do use Quora and it is a mix of great historical information and ridiculously insane questions (like “my 13 year old daughter wants to spend the night with my 37 year old neighbor. Should I let her?”)

Only reason I started to use Reddit was because of Among Us. Was grinding on my first account but then I have no access to it since I changed my Apple ID so I lost the account. Made a new account and then the Hide and Seek update happened. I just use it for something else now. You can’t have multiple accounts on here either lol. Believe me I tried

There’s a reason “average Redditor” is a meme. Some of the niche subreddits can be really useful, especially in Google searches, but as a whole it’s a dumpster fire. I’ve seen people post factual information and get downvoted into oblivion and I had several posts of my own deleted for completely bogus reasons. There are a lot better places to spend your time than navigating that minefield of dweebs.
