Only genuine responses please. I made such a stupid mistake.

so I was on an adult site (XVIDEOS) and wanted to find an old video I’ve searched up a few times before. I typed in “kiss” in the search bar and made a typo with the “kids” instead. D and S are next to each other so i just mistyped. Luckily 0 results showed up but that’s not really the point. I’m so worried about this.

I told my best friend/ex and he said people make these mistakes all the time and to not worry about it. He had put my mind a little at ease but I’m still a bit worried that authorities will come and make an investigation or something.

No. A single errant search will not have the FBI all over you. The cases I've seen have been pretty extreme - thousands of underage pics and videos downloaded and found on the computer.

Of course the safest thing to do is avoid polluting your mind with porn at all.

Yeah tbh, this has put me off it even more. I’m hardly on adult sites like that, it’s only once in a while I’ll think of searching something up. So this isn’t something I do often.

On the plus side zero results showed up, so at least one site is doing the bare minimum to police it’s content.


A one-off is fine unless you make a habit of searching for it. There’s been plenty of times I’ve typed in phrases on search engines related to video games that out of context would throw some red flags and never had a visit from the feds.

I mean they don't even do anything to proven online Groomers unless one is caught red handed in some sting op. That "minor" mistake is wouldn't cause any trouble xD
