I logged into Walmarts Wi-Fi one day, and it had me sign am actual agreement they could spy on me! I think that store is up to dine shady shit.
There's these videos on YouTube from these attorneys that warn people not to use the self-checkout Lanes at Walmart. They have arrested thousands of people for shoplifting because the machine missed an item or two. And if you pay with a credit card or a debit card to the self-checkout in the machine misses an item, they will send the police to your house a week or two later with a warrent for your arrest.

Something is seriously wrong with the people that run and own that store. Thousands of innocent people arrested over stupidity, and they spy on people! The KGB is right here in our very own little country!

But yes companies sell info like gps movements, what you buy, how often, etc…to marketers like me. And Walmart might be able to keep you engaged in foraging your data by offering you coupons when you pass by a Walmart location, or even a display inside the store.

Just decide if you mind the corporation tracks you. They’re not doing anything hurtful to you and you may like the perks they offer in exchange.

On principle I turn off most gps trackers. Apple iPhones have pretty good settings to regulate apps.

Literally any company nowadays is trying to sell your data, since it's so lucrative. Any information you give an app/site that can be used to profile you better for advertisers will likely be sold.

Remember: if a service is free, then you're the product.
