It likely depends on their sentence and how much time they have to serve it. For some it's for life that they're never allowed around children & minors and for others only a certain time before they're off.
How can you know someone is a child predator if they haven't been previously convicted of a sex crime with a minor? After conviction, someone who committed a sex crime with a minor is banned from having contact with minors.
By "child predators" do you mean registered sex offenders, including people ordered to stay away from minors?
yes i do
that's why i'm asking this question. it isn't
it seems you agree. i thought i'd ask what others thought about the idea
Disney & nickelodeon would collapse from a lack of directors and producers

How does a pedo accessing a children's TV network enable him to prey on children?
that's like saying how does the internet child porn enable him to prey on children, NO?
I haven't watched Sesame Street in a long time, but I don't remember any child porn on that program.
Internet access allows a pedo to contact children directly and solicit them. HUGE difference.
i access most of my tv from my computer. make the leap
If your question is about internet access, you should say so directly instead of being indirect and vague.
with streaming networks it's the same thing. access it here, there, on your phone, cast it to a tablet or an xbox... it doesn't really matter. you missed the point
There are people who use cable TV services instead of streaming on the internet. You posted a poorly worded question.
i didn't word anything incorrectly. cable tv is a network. so is internet. this is why they are on the same bill.
In my area, if ALL you have is cable tv, then you don't have internet access.
that's not completely true. you can hack into a neighbors network via free passcode, or just ask them. plus, are you telling me you don't have a cellular phone?
The issue is. . . you keep talking about a pedo having internet access, but you asked about allowing them to watch Sesame Street.
there are kids on sesame street. not exactly the same as nickelodeon or disney where they sexualize the kids, but i'm sure a pedo could rub one out regardless
And there are kids in Burger King and Wendy’s; ban them from those establishments as well?
that's why you have to get your groceries delivered and are banned from any establishment that has kids
Where do you get your information?
txlaw. gov
he's praying out to them. i mispelled.
No. The are usually blocked from all sites as a safety precaution.
Discriminating against these people in this way only makes them more likely to act out.
i agree. but i think they are as mentally ill as the LGBT+ community
Child predators should have their heads set on pikes.
How exactly would you enforce this?
eliminate their access to tv, internet
just like supervised release they'd have check-ins that are legal. if you've ever just got out of prison then you know your housing options are limited. so you stay at this shelter that has cable/internet, but how are you going to access that? you are a prison in society now
you aren't allowed internet
and once you login you're toast. only if there was a signal or some bill implied that
and your name is still going to pop up as flagged in those systems and you will not get sold access
well i'm not going to say it would work 100%. i don't think pedophiles are the brightest of people.
the detectives do that. police don't do much.
