Is this an off comment from my friend?

So we noticed that my MacBook camera light was on, it was green and I got lowk freaked out cuz I didn’t know why., and then my friend said “why, you scared someone’s jerking off to your face or something?” It was just a passing comment that I processed a minute later but I was like, that’s kind of a weird comment. Anyways he covered the camera up with a little sticker.

In my opinion that’s not an off comment at all because that really is a concern when it comes to webcams. I’m always sure to put a sticker over mine lol.

It may depend where you’re from or how you grew up. I remember my mom regularly reminding me to keep camera covered because of that. She’d even use post-it’s or paper and tape lol it’s too bad but there’s so many creeps out there.

It sucks that we have to worry about this sort of thing, like privacy is the bare minimum that we should have 😭😭 stay safe out there
