She was of course celebrating the PBS show where they have volunteers going into a brainscan (mri) and show the difference between conservative and liberal brains.

It's a profound discovery of course but still I mean there could have been a democrat present at the party

Eh. Considering the mean-spritedness of political discourse in this country for the last few years, I think it's a little bit more acceptable than it would have been in the past. I am not conservative by any stretch of the imagination, but I am truly horrified by how overtly shitty and hostile liberals have gotten against conservatives. Conservatives, as a group, have never even gotten close to liberals, and it's heartbreaking because the liberals used to be the party of reasoned thought.

The study did kinda show that it's true. The brainscans of democrats showed they were mostly triggered by normal stuff like jobs and responsibilities etc while Republicans were triggered by bad things so in a way the statement is true
