What music app do you like to use and why?

I've always been really big on listening to music, but I'm not willing to fork out a subscription fee for a music app.

I tried Spotify for a while, and though it seemed to be really good, I found the cost to be prohibitive, so I cancelled.

Music apps are really convenient, and if I wasn't on a limited income, I'd probably still subscribe to Spotify.

I listen to my collection of vinyl and CDs, and non-subscription YouTube.
I've transferred most of vinyl and CD collection to digital, so I have it easily available on my devices, but that was a ton of work to do.

No music app here. I have my entire music collection, CD's, Super Audio CD's, DVD Audio, Blu Ray discs, on my phone. About 7,000 songs. I use the default Apple music player on my phone and in the car.

At home I have 2 disc players.

A super high end single disc player that handles all formats. It's own D-A converter. it's own analog stage. And balanced analog outputs.
A less expensive carousel player that can handle 5 discs (all formats) at a time.

I use YouTube to sample new albums from time to time, but I am a physical media person. If something is worth listening to, it is worth buying. I can't tolerate the sound quality on apps like Spotify; why bother? You are missing 50% of the overall sound.

Spotify for the most part. I use YouTube as well. I use Spotify for the most part because of the unique music I usually get on my playlists. Like I'm always discovering new music through Spotify or YouTube sometimes.

Spotify, because I can still listen to music without having to pay a subscription, and I can turn my phone off while listening compared to the likes of YouTube.

I mostly use Spotify. I do also have YouTube and Samsung music.  I listen to a lot of forgein music and sometimes they're hard to find on Spotify so I'll use the other apps.
