How can we shame Anons?

A lot of people have complained about Anons. I always had a live and let live attitude about them. Recently I have really gotten sick of them.

I don't get wanting to post Anon. Serves no purpose specifically online. Just let your freak flag fly, ya might just make a new friend that thinks in similar ways. A few might laugh, most won't read it and if they do won't care... unless it's something REALLY aberrant or cruel. Doubt shaming will do it though.

No need to shame anyone just for wanting to post anonymously. If you don't like them doing it, just don't read their reply. Simple as that. And there are many reasons to post anon. Safety, freedom from controlling behavior if someone they know finds their post, job security, etc.

I don’t care most these people probably use the feature as well and besides most people don’t use their real names here anyways. So…. Whatever. It’s always people who spend too much time on this website and care more about what people do here then anything going on in their personal lives

Disallow anonymous answers in your questions, don't answer anonymous questions, every now and then make fun of trite anonymous questions like "what's your favorite color?".

i think going anon is used by people to avoid consequences for bad behavior instead of privacy cause you don't want your private things to be public. but then again: you shouldn't put private things on the internet either way.

I 99% of the time don't give my opinions to Anons.
I think that if you shame them it will only come back on you and you will get in trouble. 😵‍💫
