Sigh... I tell you I'm a little burnt out on the topic bc I talk about it basically all week. Ethical compliance, regulation and governance, cognitive dissonance, blah blah blah.
The one good thing is not reading so many broken sentences anymore. And yet that's another pandora's box bc the authenticity of the source is called into question...
I am assigning a term paper in one of my courses this semester. I have not done it in a few years because the spelling and grammar was really bad and I used to get discouraged.
I am curious if the students will get Chat GPT to write the term paper for them.
Aaaaah! Smart.
When I need to brainstorm, it's good to help me come up with good ideas. It's also great at helping you get out your thoughts better and can be good for therapy tools. It's also good at finding good resources that may be more relevant and useful than a typical Google search.
AI can be helpful to quickly locate data and other information about a topic, or to analyze complex data structures. But whatever AI tells us, it's important to verify what it says before using it.
If you mean generative ai (chatgpt, grok, gemini, claude) there's not. Its been shown to delude people or intensify people's own narcisstic behavior as well hallucinate data. It also lowers brain activity leading to less actual critical thought.

The only thing I can think of is it makes it easier to find a quick answer on something and links to sources. Other than that, I don't like it.
Robot girlfriends. Why in some movies do women get a gorgeous android to do housework for them and not expect their husband to f*ck it and its realistic vagina. Like why does a android that looks like megan fox have a working vagina?
Maybe, and that’s a large maybe, it could help with certain medical research. 🤷♂️
