Im from Botswana and people don't even believe me when I say I am from Africa just because I am Indian (race not nationality)
Also South Africa and pretty much the rest of Southern Africa isn't just black and white there's also Indians too.

I don't think of any of those things. Since you are white I think you are just another privileged white girl living well off the persecution of others. Now that's really generalizing white people, I know there are poor white people who didn't benefit too much from being white in South Africa.
My next-door neighbors are from South Africa. Haven't talked with them much though.
You should go ask them if they've ever had people asking them about lions roaming the street in SA etc. They probably have 😂😂

Most African countries are built up like South Africa, but White media seem to have a problem with acknowledging that Africans can do smart things like that.

You would be surprised how many people still have these misconceptions of South Africa. I still get people asking me these questions on a daily basis when i tell them im from South Africa.

Most of my perception of what South Africa might be like is from the movie Chappie, and also I read on Wikipedia that a "blaster" is an anti-carjacking flamethrower that is now illegal in South Africa...
Oh, and black people may or may not be grossly subjugated to this day, or otherwise are or are not disadvantaged, depending on who you ask...
