As much as you don't trust, drivers might not trust you to take you into their car. So you must give a good impression. According to my observations, these things make people think that you have no harm:
Having a hippie syle
Having a back-pack
A straw hat
A camera on your neck
Now you might think that how on earth these make me look good. But it is all about human psychology.
