It's always bittersweet for a number of reasons, the month of August.

It's the month of my birthday, sure, but mine is on the 6th... Which is Hiroshima day, when so many people got vaporized with an Atomic Bomb in 1945. Not to mention the aftermath.

I always think of that on my birthday.

Well, it seems to be the start of a new year for many people since summer is heavily associated with people taking vacations, breaks, enjoying themselves, etc. I know during August, most schools in the US are readying up for the next year.
