What has living in different country taught you about life?

For me, it’s an amazing adventure living in a country that’s so different from mine.

Even though I came here exactly 4 years ago for the first time, it still to this day surprises me and when I notice the differences in people, in culture, I feel like I live in a movie or a book.

Because I face interesting challenges everyday, I face them and overcome them, I live like a local here.

Haven’t used a fork for a long time, because I want to feel totally - what the life is like in Asia.

I also learn Chinese and talk a bit.

I feel like someday I’ll write about the story how I first went to a totally different country at the age of 22, fell in love there, that I was there when the pandemic started, that I I learned lots of different things and the most importantly, being open-minded and respecting and admiring the differences between people

I lived in Japan for 10 years. My place had a tatami room which I turned into a living room. Shit would get in my socks and felt like little needles. Small ass kitchen. It had this heater that was warm water in the floor... that was strange. Ultra-fast internet that was cheap and still came through the phone line... amazing. I had a parking spot that was literally an elevator of cars. It would rise up out of the street. Hot chicks were everywhere... I had a constant boner just from walking around. My door had a phone and camera for it in the living room. Storms are fucking crazy when you live 12 floors up on the very top of a mountain. Insane view. Everything was earthquake ready. Constant earthquakes. I was smoking back then and I'd see a lot of naked chicks at night... it's like they didn't really give a shit... show me them titties. People were very polite but every now and then some old man would grab my cock and call me a big boy.

I learned there are different life paces and every nation has its own character. the one that has made the lasting memory upon me is "The Land of Smiles". Thailand is full of really sweet people and I do not know how they manage it being so close to China.

The beaches are the best in the world with mountains in water with plant growth and water fall on them. The tropical jungles and cherry tree mountains with the high placs are unbelievable... I got to stop !!

That there is no such thing as perfect country.

Every homogeneous population is and should be comfortable in their homeland.

The rich are everywhere and the poor too.

That's nice. I haven't, but I've spent entire summers in Poland, which sort of counts as living. I'm actually the opposite of you, it made me realize how fortunate I am to be living in the U. S. We aren't perfect, but there are many things we do better. Not everything of course, but many.

But it did make me realize the importance of having friends and family. The door practically never shut in my family's house and they seemed a lot happier.
