How strict are airlines about checking your medication?

I want to take vitamin B1 to burn fat during my vacation but my B1 is round and might look like a street drug. I think most countries understand that people have medical needs and will not throw away your drug without justifiable cause. I’m also not sure they speak English or Chinese there.

As long as you aren’t taking large quantities, you should be fine. Only time I was ever stopped by TSA was coming back from a medical clinic with a cooler of intravenous syringes. And all they did was look at the doctors note and inspect them. This was in the US, I’m sure some countries are a lot more aggressively intrusive.

Vitamin B1 isn't medication. It's a supplement. If you're worried it looks like a street drug I'm scared about your naivety

Practically not at all. I had two inhalers, pills and prescription cream in my jacket and the security goons told me I can keep it in the pockets. 🤷‍♂️
