Yeah, but it’s weird. It’s right through the town center like you’d expect, but it’s short, it doesn’t go all the way through. The main road through downtown has two, maybe even three name changes. That whole stretch from the border of the town, through a smaller village center, then through the town center, and then into the residential area, one uninterrupted street, changes names a bunch of times, maybe four or five altogether, for maybe less than 10 miles of road. This is a very old area, so it may just be how it developed from back in the colonial days, and stuff was added out of order, so it’s not just like 1-100 Main St now goes from 1-500 Main St. Probably was just easier to say “Main St ends here, new street going north starts here, new street going south starts here.”

We have a Main Ave that's well known and a
major road. I looked up Main Street specifically because I wasn't aware of one. Turns out we do and it's like the tiniest nothing little residential street that I am pretty sure I'd never have known about.

@Still-alive the first time I ever drove on main street here i accidently blocked a alley way while at a stop light. A lady popped out trying to cross the road and was cussing, flicking me off and was trying to hit my car 😂 i was like damn I've never driven here before

Los Angeles could be much better. unfortunately we have a lot of homelessness in this city which only contributes more to the litter and junk on the ground

There are people here fighting and speaking up more about helping them but unfortunately we also have a bunch of people who think 'out of sight out of mind' were as long as they don't see them the problem doesn't exist. or if they do their solution is not a real solution at all its only to make the homeless people go away. we call them nimby's (not in my bbackyard) who maybe on a cursory level only care but they can't be anywhere near where they live. and these people are all over the city.
