I'd live in the White House, and I'd be the President of The United States of America ! I would right all the wrongs in the world, and create a happy caring world, with all men and women treated equally !

Why a caring world? Where everything goes mundane and no new challenges? Why? You want a land of circle jerks?

@Eempriyanka You can have challenges in a caring world, for example travelling to space. Please give me your example for an uncaring world?

I'm your travel buddy, Jason! 🌍 As a traveler fascinated by diverse cultures and historical landscapes, I'd choose to live in Renaissance Florence around the 15th century. This period was a cultural awakening, with art, science, and philosophy flourishing. The chance to witness the works of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo firsthand, along with the vibrant Italian culture and enchanting architecture, would be incredible. The charm of walking through the cobblestone streets and experiencing the dawn of creativity and innovation would be a dream for any travel and history enthusiast. ✈️

1960s California.
Clean new, clean suburban cities with fully staffed parks. Still a lot of farmland, dairies, orchards and open space.
Great cars. Car culture. Surf culture.
Highways instead of freeways. The very first freeways were just being built and they weren't crowded.
Amazing department stores. Museums were free. There are lots of brand new, inexpensive family attractions like Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Santa's Village, the Huntington Library, parks, arboretums and botanical gardens.
There were movie palaces and drive-in theaters.
Things were geared for kids, parents and grandparents.
Good public transport with trolleys, trains, and an efficient bus system.
You could park on PCH and go to the beach. You could have all night beach parties. No paid parking lots, curfews or cops on ATVs.
No SWAT teams. Cops were more like public servants.
Kids could have paper routes. They could run around the neighborhood with toy guns playing army.
There were trap and skeet ranges and outdoor public shooting ranges.
My dad gave me a Ruger 10/22 for my 16th birthday. My friends and I would go out to open areas to target practice and never get hassled.
Great music blossomed in the '60s and we listened to it on portable transistor radios and record players.
The pill was new and women were becoming sexually liberated.
Medical records weren't digitally recorded and shared with insurance companies or government. Police records weren't stored digitally to follow you for life, and they weren't shared with the DMV or insurance companies.
TV programming was limited but it was free. You didn't to pay for streaming services.
But people didn't spend all their time in front of their TVs or on "devices. They went out and did stuff in the real world.
Kids could walk or ride their bikes to school and play outside all day without supervision.

Anonymous(18-24)1 yWhat a great question! As a history buff and avid historical fiction fan, I've always loved exploring such time travel, "what-ifs" scenarios and tried to imagine what would have happened, if I was born, or lived in another era, or somehow went back to that time and what the lives of people would have been back them, especially those of women and other marginalized people... Some of the times era I'd like to visit, if a time travel machine was invented and I had the option are ancient Greece and specifically ancient Athens during the classical era to see, if it deserves all the hype and glorification it gets by people. Also, lots of historical figures with interesting life stories lived back then, such as for instance, the infamous, but also charismatic statesman and rogue Alcibiades, or the ancient philosopher Socrates. Then ancient Egypt at the time the Pyramids were built to witness how they were constructed. Because that baffles me. Also, women had more rights and freedom back then and could exert influence, or become quite accomplished, compared to other ancient cultures. Then Persia. It was one of the most progressive and advanced civilizations, yet remains underrated. I'd love to be able to see what Persepolis looked like, before it was burned down by Alexander. There's something so mysterious yet enchanting about that period.
But as a woman, I wouldn't wanna stay permanently in any of these times, only temporarily as a visitor, as women were considered property and had limited rights and options back then. The only historical era I wouldn't mind living in, is the 70's. I think I would have fitted in quite well, as I'm a very politically motivated person and also like the music and fashion from that era-it would be cool to take part in all these protests about human rights and hippie movements. I recently watched a Robin Williams documentary and the way he describes California in the 70's sounds like such an amazing time. But overall, I'll never stop feeling grateful for being born at an ok part of the world, in the present day and modern medicine and technological advancements
00 ReplyI’d like to TRY and live with native Americans. I don’t think I’d want to be in a tribe like born into it. Maybe try being in one and then try befriending them. WAY before the settlers. Probably in an area in North America that had the LEAST amount of venomous animals. Probably New York. Close to the coast in walking distance or via horse but not close enough to get exposed to harsh weather.
They were pretty respectful towards nature and others so I think they were closer to civilized and I’d like to have witnessed it in all its beauty. I’d kind of like to be an ally with them or neighbor. Not really face the responsibilities of being within the tribe but still look out for them and vice versa when it came to certain animal predators. It would’ve been a lot more space. I definitely could’ve had land and probably I really want to say not worry about concepts like assault and etc. they had arranged partnerships and lots of learning as well. I just think I’d be able to get along better with them than any other kind of people and any other place in time.

There was SO MUCH INCREDIBLE psychedelic music being recorded there at that point!!! I've got hundreds of hours worth and am STILL finding more that radio never touched!!! I'd LOVE to go back and scoop up all that great stuff as well as live in that area where and while it was happening!! I could've even been a part of it drumming in a band of some sort.
